The Engagement Pre Wedding Photo Shoot
Leah and Warren
28.2.15
I always like to meet my couples at least two months before their wedding day for a pre wedding or engagement photo session. It is a great opportunity to see how they interact together, how at ease they are in front of the camera (if they are not at ease beforehand, they certainly will be afterwards, as I make it a fun experience for them), and I have many grooms say to me at the start of the photoshoot they are feeling really nervous and hate having their photos taken, not a problem for me as we get into the fun session and I can see them relaxing after the first photo has been taken! We also get to know each other pretty well at the pre wedding photo session. On the couples wedding day it is more like having a friend capture their day for them.
The pre wedding photo shoot also gives me an opportunity to give them some tips for their wedding day, and also it gives them some great photos to have as well. Some couples will use one of the photos at their Reception, pop it on a white backing board (frame) and have guests sign all around so they can then frame later on, or just a small photo on a small table with guest signing book at the entry to the Reception room. Here are some photos I took of Leah and Warren in February at Shelly Beach, NSW for their pre wedding photo session and I am so looking forward to capturing their wedding day in May 2015 for them.
