Congratulations to Laura and Laen who were married on Friday 21 October 2016 at the Shelly Beach Golf Club, Central Coast.  It was a very windy day and the golf club is very exposed on the cliff above the ocean.  We managed to escape the wind by going down to Long Jetty for a few more formal bridal party photos.  They had their Reception at The Glasshouse on the wharf at The Entrance.  Here are a few photos from their beautiful day.  Please pop on over to my website www.artistiqueweddingphotography.com.au to view more photos.

The Lakeside Retreat

Congratulations to Shona and Chris on their beautiful wedding at The Lakeside Retreat on the shores of Lake Macquarie.  The forecast was for strong winds, rain and possibility of a thunderstorm, but the skies just remained overcast for their beautiful rustic wedding.  During the cocktail hour before the Reception, I spotted a cheeky Kookaburra on the cheese platter, preferring the blue cheese.  Scroll down to the bottom for the photo!  Here are some photos from their beautiful wedding day.

Brides Choice Awards - Central Coast NSW

A big thank you to my past brides who have nominated me as Photographer of the Year in the inaugural Brides Choice Awards, Central Coast.  I have been notified that I have been nominated.  Awards will be announced at a gala cocktail function on 18 October.

I certainly have a passion for wedding photography and like to produce beautiful memories of the highest quality.  Every wedding I capture is uniquely different and I always feel honoured that the bride and groom have asked me to be a part of such a special day.

I love to capture candid shots, as well as beautifully posed and I always ask my couples during our pre wedding planning meeting, what type of wedding photography they like.

Two Weddings, One Engagement and Wedding Expo

I thought I would write a quick Blog and tell you about one of my busy weekends ahead - actually this coming weekend.  Being a busy full time professional Wedding Photographer on the Central Coast NSW, most of my work is from Friday until end of Sunday, with other assignments during the weekdays; sunset portrait shoots etc.  ..... And wedding season is just starting!

I have just finished getting ready for the next three days, 3 lots of batteries charged, memory cards, cameras and props sorted,  and I tell you, the only time I will stop is when I am asleep!  

Tomorrow I am off to the beautiful Hunter Valley where at least 60% of my weddings are, and will be at the beautiful Peterson House Winery.  My coverage for Kimberley and Ricky's wedding is 9 hours so at around 11pm I will make the 1.30hr trip back home to the Central Coast.  Arrive home and put all the camera compact flash memory cards and their SD back up cards into the locked filing cabinet before going to bed.

Saturday morning I am off to capture Terri-Anne and Tony's beautiful day wedding on the Central Coast before heading home for 30 mins, have a bite to eat, lock up the memory cards, and then off to capture Jellissa and Chris' engagement party until 10pm.  Arriving home around 10.45pm, lock up the memory cards and off to bed.

Sunday, I set out at 6.20am for set up from 7am at The Springs Wedding Expo on the Central Coast, ready to talk to prospective brides until 3pm.  I will arrive home some time after 4.30pm.

Monday I will be putting sneak preview albums on my business Facebook page (www.facebook.com/artistiquephotographybynicolette) for Kimberley and Ricky's Wedding and Jellissa and Chris' Engagement Party.

Now it is time for me to have some lunch, pop out and make sure enough food in the house for the next three days and then maybe have some "me time" for an hour or so!  Have a lovely weekend everyone, and will post some beautiful photos on Monday.
