Hunter Valley
Last Saturday I captured Kimberley and Chris on their Wedding Day where they had a beautiful ceremony at the Lovedale Wedding Chapel, Lovedale, Hunter Valley. I ordered perfect weather for them several months ago and it turned out to be just that and a nice 24deg - perfect! We were very lucky because just a couple of days earlier, it had been in the mid to higher 30s with a strong wind blowing.
Kimberley messaged me early on her wedding day to tell me how beautiful Lillies was, with a pond just off the deck, vines, horses etc and how we must come back to Lillies for post wedding photos as well and it was a good decision, capturing the sun going down beside the pond. It really is a beautiful location.
My day started fairly early with Kimberley and the girls getting ready at Lillies Luxury Retreat, Lovedale. After their ceremony we spent a little time around the Chapel grounds for photos and then moved on to the Press Room at Moorebank Vineyard another beautiful location, then back to Lillies Luxury Retreat for more photos followed by their beautiful Reception at Leaves and Fishes in Lovedale and a sparkler arch farewell.
I absolutely love capturing weddings in the Hunter Valley and brides often seem surprised that I will go to the Hunter Valley when I am based at Toowoon Bay on the Central Coast. Travel is only just over an hour away so that is not a problem at all for me.
